Daily Relflection

the kids always take there naps at 1230 and wake up around 230 i love when they take they naps because i dont have to do nothing at all after that.I can go to my house right after all of that if i want to but i dont do that.

A typical day in my internship is i get there by 8:30. I have my breakfast and then it depends what day it is because everyday is something different . For example its Friday and they have music,gym,science, art, and other fun stuff. So basically Friday is fun day and we do all sorts of fun activities and projects with the kids.

My Internship might help me in the future for a job. Because i want to be a pediatrician and i work with kids in a school at least now i get the hang of working with kids and how they react to certain things.

I feel confortable at my internship. when i go to my internship i feel as if im at home. if i do have any questions about my internship i would recive the answers from either my mentor and/or the principal at my internship.

What i did today well i came in and the first thing that we did was take a quick math test b before we went to art. When we came back we went to the class and did some writing ,then we basically just did some work. We went to lunch. We came back and went to library and the kids went on typing games. Then we went to science and we watched a movie. Later we all went downstairs and i helped the kids get on the bus.

The leader of everything is The principal. She is very nice and shes respectful and fun.Everybody actually work's together in the school. There very nice and know how to have fun. Only until you get them mad.

When i first started i was very nervous but now that i have the hang of it, it's very fun.
It feels OK actually. I don't have any questions at all everything has been answered. If i did have any question's i would just ask the teacher, Ms.Frias. The teacher's told me so far that I'm doing great with the kids and that they love me.

Journal Entry

At my Internship i work with kid's. I will be working with student's below the 3rd grade average. I learn to have patience with kids and little problems. I learned you can't be to mean or to nice or else they won't listen .It will just be a regular school day. The kids have to call me Ms.Alexis. The teachers and para's names in the class are Ms.Frias,Ms.Rodriguez,Ms.Portuguess.The student's names are Christina,Aliyah,Anthony,Varas,Kristina,Stephen,Anthony,Javonta. I actually enjoy working with the kid's.

Experience reflection

Some of the avantages i have at the school i intern at is i can take the elevater and i can go out to get food and i am like a grow up like the kids listen to me like i realy work there. Some of the disadvantages i have is like i can tyell at the kids or like stay in the room alone with out a other worker being there.

Skill development

At my organization what people do is there jobs they are crew leadres like jessica and noel and more they give students what they need to know that they dont know and some work for picking up the phone and saying "Good Morning 217 how can i help you ?" or the people that run around like a chickin with out a head makeing sure everyone is in class or doing what they suppose to be doing.
A typical day at my internship is a new day everyday i never know what im a do who im a help whats gonna happen i just hhow to come with my head up and my face saying im ready to work :)

Skill Development

THE SKILLS THAT I HAD PART TAKEN WITH IN THE TIME OF MY INTERNSHIP WAS TIME MANAGEMENT, INDEPENDENCES, AND RESPONSIBILITY. I ASSISTED TEACHERS IN THEIR CLASSROOMS WITH THEIR STUDENTS. SUCH AS, HELPING ANY STUDENTS THAT HAVE MISUNDERSTANDING WITH THE LESSON; AND EVEN TEACHING THE LESSONS TO THE STUDENTS WHEN THE TEACHER ALLOWED ME TOO. OTHER THEN ASSISING TEACHERS I HAD WORKED IN THE OFFICE ANSWERING PHONES AND DIRECTING THE CALLER TO THE EXSENTION WHICH THEY NEEDED TO BE IN.
THESE SKILLS THAT I HAVE GAINED KNOWLEDGE IN WILL NOT ONLY HELP ME WITH IN SCHOOL BUT OTHER TYPES OF JOBS. THESE SKILLS CAN SHOW ME MORE THEN SELF-DISCISPLINE BUT ALSO GUIDING ME INTO A LIFE OF SUCCCESS.

Journal Entry #1

I am currently working at GreenFab on Hunts Point. During my stay there i will be learning in two classes. The first class is the technology, and the second class is the Design class. I dont start the design class until later on but the technology class is really fun. I have started on making a phone charger by soldering wires to micro chips. The soldering part i got really quick but i still have to be careful. The Soldering ron omes up to 800 degrees. Its amazing how much Iam learning in a short period of time. Sometimes it can be fustrating but then at times it can be really fun and helpful. I am really happy with my choice of internship and im sure that it wil help me some how in the future.

Daily Relection

What i did today at my internship was type fun i helped one of my fellow teacher (Mr.ward) with his class and they were doing the tea act so i help a student named shayna whit her class work and it was type fun because i knew her from my old school and she is one of my best friends (: and one of the things i oderved at my internship site was how students do need almosted all of the teacher acttion.

The leader in my organization is Mr.Litt and Ms.Tee they the ones that make things happen in my organization and they the ones that tell me what to do so i can make things happen .
At my organization there is no clients or customers . There are students because i intern in a schoool as a helper to the teachers and staff.
Decision are made by the leaders at my internship but as for the work i work individual because they are asked of me to do for the leaders at my ninternship mostly Mr.Litt and Ms.Tee . We dont work together because we work as different intern and helpers.

it feels like im not known in a place . like when i went to bronx guild i didnt know alot of people there were new faces and classes that i had to get use to and fit into . but at my internship site was my old school that i came from before i went to bronx guild. i was used to the faces and classes but there were some new people. im still used to it .
i dont have many questions about my internship because theres not much to be asked :) and if i did have any type of questions i could go to Mr.litt who is my boss or Mrs.tee and if not jessica <3 .

Primary learning center

At my internship site we will be learning how it is to be a teacher and how to own your own business. also we will learn how it is to have a responsibility with kids. My responsibilites at my internship help me learn because it teach me how to teach a group of kids. also to prepare their food and teach a lesson. also we teach them what right and what wrong.

At my internship site i work as a helper like a person that you ask for help when you need papers to be faxed or when you need some one to be a crew leader to a class when theres no one there . But at my internship site it is not the same everyday i dont always work as a helper some days i make test for younger students in the school or be in the hall way and tell them to go to class or your late for school i always like telling my friends that because i use to be with them and they always take me as a joke but they have to listen anyway :)
I think with the responsibilities i have at my intership is helping me learn how to be a hard worker and have to always be there on time and have to listen to some one because they your boss.
